I'm not really sick of it so to say, but it is very effective just abit over used. I try to mix it up with my sin abit now when I play. Critical agility and Critical defences are in almost all my builds though, they are just 2 good not to have in there.

[skill]Assassin's Promise[/skill][skill]Death's Charge[/skill][skill]Lightning Reflexes[/skill][skill]Black Lotus Strike[/skill][skill]Death Blossom[/skill][skill]Black Spider Strike[/skill][skill]Signet of Toxic Shock[/skill][skill]Impale[/skill]

If you're that sick of Moebius > DB then you can run this. Not as much sustainable DPS but you get to shadowstep all over the place so the overall damage may come quite close as you don't have to worry about walking to targets and stuff.
Also you don't have to worry about enchantment removal (you do about hex removal though...) unlike Moebius builds that mostly use Golden Phoenix Strike, and depend on their enchantments (Crit Agility/Defenses) to survive and deal damage.

[skill]Golden Fox Strike[/skill][skill]Wild Strike[/skill][skill]Shattering Assault[/skill] isn't bad to run on a support 'sin. It has nowhere near the damage of Moebius > DB but if enemy Monks are spamming Shield of Deflection/Aegis and stuff everywhere, your Moebius > DB 'sin isn't really going to do anything.

Mobious+deathblossom is sooooo nice in pve, i usualy start it off with golden fox strike, and then swap out the off hand depending on where i am, either for deep wound fir golden fang or wild strike to take out stances, sometimes i'll go distupring stab and exasuting assualt to start it out. i wish there was another pve combo that gave me the survivabiltiy and constant damage that the critical mobious DB +mystic regen does..

with crit agility and golden fang strike for the off hand you can kill the master of damage in about 5-6 seconds.

other builds that work in pve.. the unblock able chain with shattering assualt is nice for the asura areas or places with lots of protective enchantments, ie earth ele's, prot monks, dervishes. other than that.. other builds do work, but they don't provide nearly the self preservation that your monks will thank you for (unless your in a place with crazy enchant removal, like predition rock, only place that has been a problem with those builds)

why the hell are you complaining about a build that makes having a sin in your party worthwhile? See we keep forgetting that sins suck(ed) in party play pretty bad before the moebius update. Now, we have sins dealing aoe burst damage while probably succeeding in out damaging a lot of eles. plus, you can keep doing the combo forever, eles run outta energy!

also note that baddies run less from the aoe damage from death blossom than they do sustained aoe damage from spells like MS, savannah, and searing heat. So as far as cluster control is concerned, id rather have a moebius sin run in to take agro and kill shit.

about that shattering assault bar: throw impale on there. that is the single best sin bar ever to be introduced into the game (pvp wise) that thing is effin unstoppable.

I play a Deadly Arts-based Promise spike cannon in PvE. Most people who hear that for the first time scream in horror and try to kick me off Guild Wars altogether because I'm not running Moebius Blossom. Which I don't typically run because using PvE-Only skills irks me. Hm hm...but the few guys who do keep me around find themselves shocked at how rapidly I can stab my way through enemy hordes. It's easy, really - cast Promise, spike someone's face, then recast Promise and spike someone else's face.

I don't follow the whole "Moebius Blossom is the only possible way for an Assassin to do anything in PvE!!" buzz. Does that mean the build is bad? No. Does it mean that I hate it? No. Well, I kinda do, but for other reasons. What it means is that to some of us, being absolutely locked into ONE build is kinda like having an iron collar two sizes too small around our necks. Kinda like how Necromancers in PvE had better be Minion Masters - OR ELSE. Or how Elementalists had better be Searing Flames spam - OR ELSE. Sometimes it's just a matter of wanting to run what you think is fun and different, instead of being forced by general peer pressure into running the one, single build that the game considers viable. Yes, I get it, running that one single build makes putting together pugs much easier...but doesn't it ever get bloody boring?

To be honest.. their isn't a good reason not to spam death blossom.

high adjacent damage constantly doesn't really get any better.

i got legensary survivor with db spam, and when crit agi came out, it was even easier.

this isnt something even worth changing.. and its good. i mix it up with a similar build maverick uses, but i still use db spam for almost everything else.

The only thing I'm sick of is PuG's expecting me to always run it.I used to enjoy pugging with builds other than the MS-->DB cookie cutter, now I can't be bothered even trying.

Thank god for guildies.

Is it teh sex....yes.

Are there other viable PvE builds....yes.

Those other viable builds tend to get you no further than the front door. I'll settle for sex.

Haha.Fair call.

I completed all 3 campaigns without ever using MS-->DB.It's easily done, just outside the square.

Personally I have nothing against the power of good old MS-->DB spam...I just don't buy games to repeatedly press 2 buttons and it's a pity that the classes most powerful and popular combo is so mind-numbingly boring to play and use in-game.

Oh well.
